Let’s get to know each other!

Sandria’s Wild What…? And why?

Nice to meet you! My name is Saana, and I’m the woman behind Sandria’s Wild Nature. I’m here to show you the natural gems of Satakunta, and once you get to know me better, you’ll find out that I might be a bit wild by my nature, too.

Long story short? I’m an ex-travel journalist who didn’t want to travel anymore. Instead, I became a nature and wilderness guide and kayaking instructor (I still sometimes write, too). I’ve explored and adored Finnish nature all my life, and to help preserve it, I want to share my knowledge and appreciation with everyone interested in seeing and experiencing it as I do every day.

In 2019, I found my paradise in Kuivalahti, a seaside village of Eurajoki, where I live and run my small nature business (or lifestyle, should I say). Besides year-round nature excursions on land and sea, I’m responsible for the hugely popular Old Rauma Ghost Tours – just another example of my wild nature.
